the intro scared me shitless as a child, i always covered my eyes when the claws came. in dog's ransom when that poor pup was drowned i stopped following it.

I agree with you entirely Silverbirch4444. But for me the scariest bit for me was that you actually watched something on ITV. Way too downmarket for me. I`m an Beeb man till I die. Or the next time the license fee goes up. x

This was very very scary. Being young it was bound to be. Looking at it years later, yeah, it's still very very completely and utterly scary! Oh My God! Give me blankets right now to protect me from the nun! Them thick grey ones that make you itch!! xxxx

The darkened Thames Television Title is a neat touch - very reassuring to know I wasn't the only 7 year old terrified by 'The Black Nun'
