He is Jamaican. Not all jamaicans speak exactly the same, but if you're a jamaican you can easily spot a fake jamaican accect. His account is real, but not all jamaicans sound exactly the same. He's a comedian too so that probably explains a part of it. He had his own tv comedy show when he was living in jamaica
