@supruzr You DO remember that "Dubaya's" Daddy--who also was President of the USA--was once head of the CIA? This warmongering on the part of the Bushes has been around for a LONG time. The US is run by a ruling elite; this is why you can NOT get rid of the Bushes and James Baker and Henry Kissinger, etc. Regardless of who actually is in power.

But the trans-afghan pipeline taking gas from the former Soviet States to Karachi will be.
It has the potential to be the most lucrative energy deal in history, the transit fees for Afghanistan would be in the $millions.
The deal to build the pipeline was signed in 2002 while Hamid Karzai was still the unelected leader of Afghanistan.

I think it is telling that a person of Bob Baer's abilities is OUT of the CIA. What does this say? It seems to be saying that the best people get booted out, leaving the political types in the CIA. George W. Bush did tremendous damage to this country and Afghanistan is part of "Dubaya's" legacy. So is Blackwater (now calling itself "Xe").
