okay she's an interesting character i get it. but what's with all the lannister pride? they are the most evil people ever. i can understand jamie pride and tyrion because they are not completely gone and without honor but i mean CERSEI? god she's so horrible. and for the record the actress who plays her in game of thrones is really really good, she portrayed cersei to the tee i would have to say. no one coulda probably done it better

@stoopiddub333 Whoever said anything about pride? I like Cersei, true enough, but *because* she is so evil. I like Cersei because she's an interesting character. I don't like her because she's nice - she's not nice.I merely think George R R Martin created a very interesting character. Characters don't have to be heroes in order to interest me. I don't think Cersei is a good person (rather the opposite, actually) but I do think she's a good character.

@MsLadyDarkside She is the worst judge ever of who is a threat lol. She is the most paranoid character in the series after maybe Areys. Almost every single one of her successes are thanks to Vary's and Littlefinger who keep her in power "because" she is stupid and is destroying kingslanding's economy. Littlefinger thrives in chaos. And Varys wants an unstable kingslanding for another reason i won't spoil. She has a few minor sucesses because she's hot, but honestly.

@boteromi Actually, Cersei is very intelligent. She manages to plot and scheme her way through these other people, and come out on top. She uses every weapon she has, and she is a good judge (usually) of who is a threat. I'm in book 4 now, and you really get to know her there. She is a very smart, driven, cutthroat evil bitch. And I love her! But, if given the chance, I'd knock her teeth in.

I said she is an idiot, which i think is indisputable and I said she isn't interesting, not because of bad writing, but because George obviously wrote her that way, that's not to say her chapters are not interesting she's just not very complex.
