Abosolutely a must for my playlist...

I always wonder at songs like these and why I have never heard them till years later!!!

If I ran a school or like...the children would hear songs like these and discuss the contents after...then draw their pictures to show what the words meant to them before they are spoiled with their 'curriculum' of set thoughts!!!

And so very sad....

Tears flow as I watch our wild equine spirits being herded into extinction by man's greed.. corruption.. and government. STOP THIS MADNESS !!!

For perspective it's worth noting...These beautiful images of horses running here... were taking from Helicopters.... who frighten... harass and chase the horses into their eventual capture and loss of freedom... & often their lives. This is a HOLOCAUST for our wild horses.

In 1971 Congress passed the Wild Free-roaming Horse and Burro Act, guaranteeing freedom to all wild horses in "the area where presently found." On July 1, 2011 the US government plans to capture ten thousand of these "spirit horses" and move them away from their legally designated ranges.

I never get tired of listening to Annie and this wonderful song. Our Mustangs are disapearing due to the government round-ups. We need to stop this from happening.
