I had to remove the sound, as i noticed too late that there were heavy cracking noises in the recorded videos (no clue why) - but you dont miss out much anyway - so it was replaced with Amiga-Remixes from www.amigaremix.com - I dont know why the picture isnt centered ingame - i tried anything to fix that - but no luck.

Heres the list:

Phenix80 - Hybris 2005.mp3
Awesome-A - Apidya level 1 trance 2k4 remix.mp3
D.A.Wilson - Elysium - Hideaway Studio Remix.mp3
Astralia_-_Hurt_My_Feelings_(Amiga_Star_Remix).mp3
TDK - Orgasmic Chipper 2005.mp3
GeckoYamori - Zool Elektrorock Remix.mp3
DHS of TSW - Apidya Subtune1 (Infected Edit).mp3
Makke - Jesus on E's.mp3
SCRAMBLER - We're the devils.mp3
ANTAI - Quik & Silva (Orchestral Version-andante-Melancholy Edit).mp3
ANTAI - Quik & Silva (Memories Of Earlier Days Mix).mp3
AmiGamer - Desert Dreams - Part One - Sunset Dunes Mix.mp3

  • SVEN SVARDENSVART RULES!

  • Banshee was one of the very few games that made good use of the AGA chipset, among some others were Genetic Species, Super Stardust, T-Zero ..and ummm... ummmmm.. not much else!? There were of course other AGA titles but they didn't really push the newer Amiga's, although there were some ECS titles towards the end the pushed that chipset to the brink!! IE.. Lionheart, Elfmania... etc.. Anyway, i guess the whole point of the video is Banshee, nice vid!! and great remixes in there too :)

  • One of the, if not the best AGA games out there. Wish there were more of these.

  • visual style reminds me of Chaos Engine.

  • @psyjax It "did" have sound effects, but cubex55 put a remixed track of Hybris over the top of the game in the video ;)

  • Banshee's lack of soundtrack is about the only thing that displeases me about the game. Maybe it's having been brought up on SNES and mega drive shmups but a jaunty little tune to go 'pew pew' to is part and parcal!

Still, it plays like a dream and one of the best Amiga games ever!

  • @auritone Sorry, maybe I should have read the description before I wrote a comment, eh?

    Sorry! :)

  • Loved this game, but can't remeber the music - is this the original sound?

That's a remix of the music from Hybris, isn't it?

  • sprites are absolutely beutiful. CORE were Amazing pixel artists! Wish it had sound effects tho :( Poor AMIGA.

  • Great music kurwa mać!

  • this game is much better with these musics that ScHlAuChi added in the video. :) I don't understand why some Amiga games lack in-game music, is not a technicall limitation because I remember clearly that I had a Banshee coverdisk demo and it had a nice in-game tune! But the full game release did not had. :\

  • I always wondered what the name of this game was. played it as a kid!
