Yggdra Union: Map 48 Part 2

So I hear on the PSP version that there's a Map 49... ooh! Maybe I can actually make use of the Fanelia on that map and find out what the heck "attributes UP UP" means! Maybe it means every time you use an elemental attack, it instantly kills the enemy?

Anyways, this battle against Marietta is easily won if you know what to do. Here's my strategy:

1. Charge with 5 guys and go aggressive as much as possible.

2. Check Marietta's morale every so often. Basically, you're doing morale damage during the battle rather than after winning a battle, which has something to do with that A.S. shield of hers requiring morale input to function properly.

3. Once her morale reaches 1 (and NOT before then), her shield because just an S. Shield. At this point, lead the charge with Yggdra using Crusade, and unleash the power on Marietta during that turn. Marietta's S. Shield can no longer protect against it, so she gets beat.

Be careful not to screw up the Crusade charge (Marietta often breaks your charge with her head's attack)- I usually bring in the Hairband or Magical Sword or something that either powers up your gauge quickly or does an instant charge.

And that's the final map of the GBA version! I'll get there on the PSP version pretty soon...

i am going to tell you how to beat her its simple make her use here A.S Shield and Angelic Thunder that in turn will activate her HP Control System which to make it simple brings down her moral and pay close attention to what she says it will change as she gets weaker

Probably, but not neccessarily... Anyone without a weakness to her (Roswell, Rosary, Stray Dragon Durant, Cruz and Elena yeah) should be able to make her use Angelic Thunder most of the time as long as their stats are decent and they don't get ridiculously unlucky on Marietta's counter.

I've actually managed to get Milanor/Yggdra Thunder'd before too, so...

I played against marietta and she was tough, but I managed to shave of her morale alot. the cards I use to get her morale really fast is to use shield barrier and banshee's cry and then have her use angelic thunder every time against my units. I figured out that if marietta kills you while you're using banshee's cry, you'll receive half morale damage. Oh, fanelia didn't help much during my battle against marietta.

Lol my Strategy (the most effective that i used) is as the battle goes on, when all your units are on the same union, use the Barrier card thingie or something like that then just hold it, just wait for Marietta to use her Angelic Thunder, always aim for Marietta to use her Angelic Thunder, by doing it, her morale will decrease more quickly(i won this battle with 5 more cards left before i use Crusade XD haha)

no, and actually most of the time she won't  even activate angelic thunder since she'll probably wipe out all of your units before then, unless you use Cruz and/or Elena of course, then she'll just thunder them

and no, to actually answer your question, She'll lose morale during every clash, it just depends on how high your characters stats are, so if they have straight 6's then you'll be dropping her by 2500 or maybe more during each clash
