A balancing scooter using a go-kart wheel, a 400 Watt 24V DC Motor, an OSMC and a PIC microcontroller. A simple PID control at 100 Hz balances the assembly.

  • Is there any electronic braking when you lean back?

  • The control is completely symmetrical, so you get braking when you lean back.
