I love how everyone thinks this guy is an asshole just because one man posted a letter saying he's an asshole. How many of you have actually met him or been there when it all hapenned? How come you believe so much in the word of someone who wasn't even man enough to tell him in his face what he thought of him, instead of hiding behind a whiny letter he posted for the world to see? @sweetsugarhoney2 It's all good, it just saddens me too much the way he took advantage of Tarja's naivety, feeding her all that "you are far better than them" crap. I never was a fan of Tarja (IMHO there are literally hundreds of better singers, which is why I'll never understand why Nightwish didn't go for a good soprano singer), but it's fair to say that Nightwish was brought down by Marcelo's selfish reasons. Anyways, been a long time since that.

@Lucasdieguez I'm not saying he is a good guy, I don't know him, and I couldn't care less. What I'm complaining about is the people who indeed not know him at all and judge him based on what someone (someone they don't really know as a person either, no matter how much they admire him for his music) writes. You may have had bad experiences with him. Tarja clearly hasn't, or we have to assume she's just totally stupid and can't chose her husband right like the grown up woman she is.

@sweetsugarhoney2 Wrong. Many of us know Marcelo in the flesh, many of us have shared a meal and concerts with him. Many of us also are involved in the music circles of Argentina. He IS crap, he loves manipulating people and, knowing him since the 90s I can fairly say (and many will back me up on this) that he didn't even do it for money, but because he wanted and could and would. By the way, he can't even see m because I'm one of the few who DID tell him in his face.

@viktoriankaPo не знаю, по мне все они хороши - и Тарья, и Туомас, и Марсело, и остальные.... Бешеная популярность и большие деньги почти всегда меняют людей, и к сожалению не в лучшую сторону... Очень немногим артистам удается достойно пройти испытание славой... Члены Найтвишь явно не из их числа..

@Lucasdieguez but! On the other hand, if Nightwish guys (and especially Tuomas) gave Tarja more attention, and treated her more carefully - she wouldn't spend so much time with Marcelo - and as a result wouldn't get married him. However, Tuomas was always focused on himself, just as other guys.
