is it me or the way TJ says "down" it sounds way weird...i perfer Caleb he sounds more edgy and rocky i love it while tj's voice is bit more soft

how can you compare TJ to Caleb??? Caleb is like 1,000,000x better!!

Caleb has a slightly higher vocal range than TJ, and so his is ideal for grunge and punk, whereas TJ's is more suitable for alternative and indie rock. Yet, in my honest opinion, both are almost equal in terms of singing to hard rock. Caleb has a slight upper hand, but only because we equate hard rock more with modern punk and grunge, which is Caleb's style. TJ is a great singer, and a worthy replacement or substitute.

but, TJ was amazing in Fighting Instinct, that band was suited more to his style

caleb oliver is the reason most people liked decyfer down originally. TJ is also good, but he is more of an 80's wailer compared to Caleb's grunge-esque rock sound. I don't like TJ as much because I am among the many that love the original decyfer down, but it would be a lie for anyone to say TJ is bad. He's just not the same.
