· Bellman Visit 868 Transmitters: There are various transmitters which enable the system to "pick-up" the sound: door transmitter, telephone transmitter, baby cry/voice transmitter, contact mat and the smoke alarm transmitter

Living Independently by using the Visit 868 alerting system

· Bellman Visit 868 Receivers: There are various receivers which enable the person with a hearing loss to be alerted: alarm clock with shaker, pager, portable and flash receiver.

Practical application of the Visit 868 alerting system

· Bellman Visit 868 Doorbell, Contact mat and Push Button transmitter to Portable Receiver: you are alerted when someone rings your door bell, or when someone enters/exits a room. The alert is sent to the Portable Receiver which indicates which alert was activated e.g. telephone call incoming.

· Bellman Visit 868 Smoke/Fire Transmitter to Portable and Flash Receiver: you are alerted if there is a fire or there is smoke. The signal can be transmitted to more than one receiver.

· Emergency signal sent to Alarm Clock with Shaker and to both Pager and Wrist Receiver: the pager is worn on your belt and it vibrates; the wrist receiver is worn on your wrist (similar to a watch) and it also vibrates and indicates an alert symbol

· Bellman Visit 868 Alarm Clock: the alarm clock receiver alerts you with a flashing light, a sound and a vibration of a bed shaker

· Bellman Visit 868 Flash Receiver: this device alerts you with a flashing light and coloured symbols. You can also attach a bed shaker to it.
