Uh...no. Shero is NOT that stupid. He would have never entertained that deal. It would've been a gross overpayment on the Pens part. Shero's already insinuated that Letang is as close to untouchable on the Pens as a player can be who's name isn't Crosby, Malkin or Fleury and that Kris is the reason why he felt comfortable trading Whitney. Letang was scratched for 3 games because of his work ethic in practice and because he was bad for 2 games.

hey. my friends dad works for the penguins and she gets to sit in the same box with Shero...and she overheard him talking on Thursday night when he didnt play. and he said he had a Deal on the table. With Letang and Whitney. for Kovelev.
