Example video: of how the Mosaic cube performs with the ball core from Calvin at HKNowstore and some spacers made from `glo-stick joiners` and washers, instead of the springs. It's a simple modification that will now cost under $10. I am very happy with the results. The puzzle is now very stable and, as demonstrated, even cuts corners when intentionally misaligned!
The ball core modification was initially suggested by me on Twistypuzzles and made available on shapeways by Oscar, but it is quite expensive, now that Calvin has mass produced it, hopefully more people can justify the modification.
