Welcome to Get Piano Lesson 7 where we really start to have fun on the piano! Now that we've practiced finger patterns with our right and left hands, its time to answer a very important question... what is the secret to playing the piano with both hands at the same time? Well this video spends the bulk of 15 minutes with 3 different piano pieces to explain just how to start doing that! Only 10 ten minutes of the full video are shown here, but you can catch the entire length video lesson (for free as always) simply by going to: http://www.get-piano-lessons.com/lesson-piano.html

  • i need help !!! i have a question please someone answer this who knows a lot about piano my question is ;

    there are lot of songs having notes that are shown only on treble clef but in these songs left hand is used too

    but why left hand is used in a song that has notes on treble clef??

    please explain this !!!

  • @semmamun - Just because it is the treble clef that doesn't mean it is ONLY for the right hand. In fact the bass clef can also have notes meant to be played with the right hand as well. Normally, music compositions have notes that can be played easily with right and left hands playing separately in their own "zones". However, some pieces require both hands to play piano at a higher range (both hands on treble clef) or lower range (both hands on bass clef).

  • thanks for your reply !!

    so this is all about ledger lines? i am right???

  • @semmamun - ledger lines become necessary in sheet music only when you have notes appearing above or below the 5 lines of your treble or bass staff. Whether or not you play these notes with your left or right hand depends on where the notes physically appear on your piano keyboard. General rules apply to treble and bass, but if there is tremendous activity in the bass section you may have to use both hands to play it (likewise for the upper regions of the piano).

  • ANOTHER SHIT PIANO TUTORIAL...

    Couldn't of said it better...its like I'm forcing myself to give myself a talent I just don't have...only because I don't have a talent...

  • you're right, the most important this IS fingering lawl

  • Yeah.. as soon as i know a part of a song then the left hand comes in I CANT GET IT!!! ... its soo hard -_-

  • Oh gosh, this is the hardest one for me yet. The dreadful playing with two hands. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to have one hand play 1 beat and the other play another. Its like rubbing your tummy and patting your head except 10 times harder.

    This is always the part that makes me stop and say, "there is no hope, you are not a pianist"

    I Have PIANO fingers for goodness sake!!! iT'S NOT RIGHT!

  • thanks bro (:

  • @W4lly16 I know what you mean.I cant get my left hand to play something different!!!

    so annoying!!
