Made-for-TV film about the Battle of Mount Tumbledown, one of the final battles of the Falklands War. It was fought between 2nd Batallion the Scots Guards and the Fifth Regiment of Marines (BIM5). BIM5 were easily the best trained and best equipped of Argentine troops in the Falklands War, and the result was a fierce battle. This film depicts some of the fighting, and the aftermath of being injured in battle.

Stars Colin Firth as Liuetenant Robert Lawrence MC, who lost 43% of his brain and was paralysed as a result of his injuries.

  • I am mildly amused by the amount of anguish the Argentines still have about this war. I don't think they had the right for anguish in the first place, what with being an unprovoked invader, but for 30 years later still having a daily trumpet calls for the Argentine losses; ridiculous to the point of hilarity.

    Step on Britain's arse and Britain will shove a beyonet up yours.

  • When the cries of FIX BAYONETS!! rang out on the cold plains of the Falklands you can be assured that the enemy could taste the fear has the Brits got down to the dirty task in hand....there are no good wars and they leave people destroyed physically and mentally.
