  • I bought an 2 TB for the same price :)

  • i built a portable hdd better than this in terms of looks and function.

  • Nice!!!

  • those 2 USB plugs are for use in older computers/laptops which still have low-powered USB ports there. right now most machines (including MacBooks of course) have high-powered ports and you only need to use the main USB cable. but I hope you figured that out long time ago ;)

  • @kkeshav74 western digital never crash on me but seagate does i hate that i lost all my music on a seagate i been using western digtial for few years i heard iomega is great too

  • Does it work with the new OS X Lion?

  • How good is it for mac?

  • the first usb is a 2.0 which is the normal usb with a speed of 480 Mbits

the other one is 3.0 which has 5Gbits speed but most of the computers now do not have a 3.0 usb port

  • you only need to use one usb. It comes with two because there are some older USB ports that don't provide enough power to the drive. Most do though, so you don't need to use the second usb end.

  • @GeekisCarnage segate drive working in iomega enclosure
