We just had to see how they compared in pulling back to back and the out come was as I expected, The Electric ATV DOMINATED the Yamaha and it seemed so shameful . It was not a perfect match but a good comparison . Thanks for watching

  • The grizzly had way more spin on the tires so therefore lost traction

  • @imacrazymofo13 Hello, You will notice we did try not to spin but when being pulled the opposite direction of wheel travel tends to brake traction and not to mention an attempt to get to more stones . Thanks for watching .

  • this is shit the grizzly 600 has so much power that all the tires do is spin and lose traction witch is why the electric won

  • @nothisispatrick68 The Grizzly suffers from lack of better tires and more weight , and yes we did try not to spin a couple times but to no avail it still got drug out to the road every time . Thanks for watching .

  • still rather have the 600

  • Though I was raised in the country & understand peoples' votes going for gas-power, I can understand where electric has the advantages. Because of the spreading presence of high-output lithium battery cells & high-efficiency brushless motor systems, electric now has a better power to weight ratio. Also, in terms of efficiency, gas is more efficient for simple generation of electricity (like a dynamo) than for direct mechanical use (in a car). The main advantage of gas engines is range of travel.

  • Notice the rock on the electric. And an electric motor geared down will have more power but you wont go anywhere fast. Not a good compromise. My 500 has enough to stand on the rears and thats all ill EVER need. Im not pulling down trees.

  • BashMonkeyRC they dont have big brushless motors yet. The battery would need to be gigantic anyway, and the polution thats put out to make those batteries is less than what a quad puts out.

  • tengo una duda ayuda TENGO UNA GRIZZLY 600 COMO ESA DE AHI JEJE Y JALA MUY BIEN TODO LE RESPONDE PERO SIENTO QUE NO CORRE MUCHO A QUE SE DEVERA LE GANA UNA 4OO Y NO SE LEVANTA DE CABLLITO TENGO QUE METERLE PESO COMO DE 3 PERSONAS ATRAS PQ ??? SERA LA BANDA DE TRASMICON RESPONDAN PORFA :s

  • Electric all the way.

  • @THizzle80 No Gas station in the woods, and yes an extended pack is feasible and the batteries do recover so you are never truly dead in the woods and small solar panels and mini wind generator are all minimal ways to charge but a charge none the less . PS we will be building an Electric from a Grizzly 660 also and it will far excede the gasser that we had tested .

  • @dappman ummmm, didn't you see the part about the new fuel injected engine? lol, 660s are still bad ass b/c they're Grizzlies, but the 700 is a whole 'nother animal, esp when you compare a 660 with the big 3 vs a 700 with the big 3, and the 700 will blow your mind. The amount of torque those things have are amazing. And, the reason electric atvs will never catch on is you can carry extra gas, it'd be a bitch to carry a an extra battery. And where can you plug one in in the middle of the woods?

  • @THizzle80 My video pretty much crushes ALL stereotypes of electric being weak. Also age of design of electric motors is not relevant. They have always had the torque advantage. I could get a DC motor made in the 1940's and it would absolutely own a gas engine made in 2011. Electric though, can only be as strong as the power source. Batteries still suck as they did way back years ago.

  • this is clearly a traction issue. not saying the grizzly would have won under different circumstances. i don't know enough about the electric atv to make that claim but i would like to see this done on grass dirt and maybe pavement.

  • lol this made my day!!
