1937 Zenith Console Radio 10-S-160 AWESOME!!

Here's an outstanding example of a big, beautiful Zenith console with multiple-sculpted ultra-deco ribs and a high-tube count chassis amplify that produces roof-lifting volume. Equipped with a big black 3-band dial with counter-balanced tuning.

Original finish! New & correct grille cloth, and safe power cord.

The 10-tube chassis has been re-built. The counter-balanced tuned dial works on American and foreign stations, Auditorium 12-inch Electro-Dynamic Speaker, High Fidelity Control, Sensitivity Control, Lightning Station Finder, Target Tuning, Split-Second Re-locator, Overtone Amplifier, and Acoustic Adapter. This machine would look and sound amazing in any living room or office.

Simply put....the engineers at Zenith were world-class and they knew how to build radios.

So cool to see and hear! There is just something about those old vintage tube radios. And how deep and rich tube amps were. I am just finishing up restoring a 1938 Philco Junior cathedral radio and ordered another one today to resurrect back to life. I can't wait to listen to a baseball game on it next spring.

We will never see that kind of big bulky and beautiful radio equipment again.
