  • I wanted the angler but I got the other model revo see.

Is urs heavy to put on your car or do you tow it.

next year maybe I'll upgrade to angler.

  • @HALIBU77 - it is heavy and it was carried on the bed of a Ford F-150. Because we where 4 people on this trip we all helped lifting it over the rocks and down to the beach. I use an Adventure, the kayak in the video is Tim Salmon who is on the Hobie Fishing Team

  • @UltimateKayakFishing ,

The water looks too rough for me ,

bout the kayak looks very stable.

It looks like you would loose rudder control with all that bounceing

I'm planning to upgrade to the Adventure Island maybe next year, I like the ama's

  • @HALIBU77 It was nice when we launched, wind and waves had picked up by the time we filmed. Kayak is very stable, it's an aircraft carrier style kayak. The rudder is further forward on this kayak so it pitches a lot less than the Adventure and it turns on a dime with the big sail rudder.

  • They actually have an electric motor for this boat. fits right where the miragedrive pedals system goes or it can be attached to the back.

  • Yes I know, we have tested out the Torqeedo on several kayaks. It is an interesting concept albeit a very expensive one. There is an Australian Saltwater motor that have a head small enough to fit and it can be run with deep cycle batteries.

  • That's a nice video but it's not a true stability test. It shows that the user has good balance more than anything. There are also different tests to check primary and secondary stability. Anyway, thanks for sharing the video. I know quite a few people who use P.A's offshore without a problem.

  • Most of the time we fish and that keeps the speed at less than a mile an hour. It's more maneuverable than the Adventure and the Pro Angler is nor any slower than the Adventure. Carrying it is the hardest part. Three mile an hour sustained speed is using? about as much energy as a fast walk with the ST Turbo Fins.

  • good video, i have a question though, what kind of speeds in calm water do you think you could sustain for say a 30 min time frame, without completely exhausting yourself? I am looking at getting one but plan to paddle / peddle an average of 1-2 miles each way, is this pretty tiring to peddle that much?
