The 1990 Hagersville Tire Fire consisted of 14 million scrap tires burning into toxic sludge. The fire was caused by arsonists and was, at the time, the world's largest tire fire. It was extinguished in just 17 days thanks to innovative thinking, respectful communication, and a big yellow water bomber.
