Peacegrandma: may I point out that EVERY SINGLE DC DEMOCRAT voted for indefinite military detention (NDAA) and criminalizing protest at the conventions (HR347). The 'Buffett rule' used to be called the Schumer rule (he's the one who pushed it through). It's Obama's DHS that has been running nationwide phone conferences on how to stop OWS. Just sayin'.

Dan Kinch is (mostly) right on the money. He is bright and his heart is in the right place. However, I disagree with him in that voting is important. The Koch/Exxon conservatives are at war against Occupy (and Obama) and, as Mr Kinch would agree, are spending billions against your efforts to 'stop the empire'. Voting is a necessary sprint towards a successful marathon. Just sayin'
