Morote Gari is not illegal in judo ... you fucking stupid people. the rules are that you can not attack under the belt on the first attack. and you can not fake an attack. so make for ogoshi and it fails and shoot a double reap.

I have huge respect to rhadi, He is talented athlete and does great job by promoting all kind of graplling activity. However, in my humble opinion his morote gari is not very clean. I mean its huge move but not flat on the back. At least in those judo matches i saw he usually scored wazari or yoko. Also, i cannot find anu of his matches with A level oponents. I mean judo matches from A level tourneys. if somebody have them please share the link.

@moonrunrs As someone who's very interested in taking up judo ive been reading up on it,so why has this been banned then?Also even if it has been banned would i still get taught it anyway?

Believe me, squats and deadlifts will give you that type of strength needed to execute this pick up against somone with that body frame.
