IIT Mechanical Engineering Senior Project Escalator Compatible Wheelchair

This is a senior design project for the mechanical engineering students at the Illinois Institute of Technology.
This is a video taken during testing of the "ESCALATOR COMPATIBLE WHEELCHAIR". The team designed and fabricated a system which can be put on a wheelchair to make it compatible (and usable) on a standard width escalator.
