Hornady XTP 9mm Luger (Parabellum) 115-grain Standard Pressure, as loaded by North Rim Ammo. (Sold at AJI Sports in Apache Junction, AZ.)
Test gun is an EAA Tanfoglio Witness (steel frame, full-size).
Distance was approximately 5 yards, about 74 degrees (F) outside, zero wind.
First shot was flubbed - jugs were positioned wrong and I aimed off too far to the left; penetrated 4 jugs, stopped in the 5th. Second shot was straight-on; destroyed the first 2 jugs, barely went into the 3rd, and appeared to have gone in sideways upon impact. Full mass was retained, no separation of lead from jacket. (The bits seen in the bottom of the 2nd jug of Test 2 were in fact gravel, not fragments as I initially thought.)
DISCLAIMER: This video is for informational and demonstrative purposes only. I am not an FBI Ballistics Expert, nor a professional ammunition analysis lab - I'm just an ordinary schmuck with crappy video equipment/software. This test does not accurately depict the performance of any given bullet in real-life conditions. In other words, I'm just posting this for whomever may be interested, for whatever it's worth.
