Horizon 中綴じ製本機 StitchLiner5500 (saddle-stitching machine)

Horizon（ホリゾン）の中綴じ製本機です。

中綴じ製本というのは折り目の背中の部分に（一般的には）針金をを通してホチキスのように綴じる製本方式です。週刊誌などでよく見られる綴じ方です。

少ないページ数のカタログ・冊子・パンフレットなどの製本にお勧めです。

大量のページ数を綴じる場合は背がふくらむこともありあまりお勧めできません。（無線綴じをお勧めいたします）

この程度の厚みの製本をブロック分割してたら効率悪すぎ

ブロック分割とは4ページごとの断裁のことでしょうか？

4ページごとの断裁をしておくことで、お客様が印刷後の間違い修­正→再印刷は発生した時の破棄される紙が少なくなります。

効率は悪いですが、弊社の印刷／製本は短納期ですのでそういった­状況を常に考慮して、4ページごとの断裁という形で作業を行って­おります。

@crustenscharbap......it runs at 5500/hr max...these machines are mainly designed for small run book jobs not big production like u see on Mullers.

I run the new model ST6000 which runs out 6000/hr max or 12000/hr max when doing 2 up work. The 6000 model is solely a booklet maker...u cannot do ncr or collating work on it.

What the h€ll. Ist extremly Slowly. 500 Folders/Hour? Look at the Heidelber or Müller Martine Saddle stitcher.
