A ten point buck intimidated our Golden Retriever, Roxy, for over 4 hours! The deer finally 'pushed' the dog back to our house. In this segment, the deer jumps a ditch to go after the dog. See the second segment here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQDrU06Irnk

  • Most of you missed what was really going on here. Roxy and the deer were "locked" in a retreat/attack mode for hours! The deer acted in this weird manner because we have large numbers Eastern Coyotes. The deer learned that a good offense is the best defense. Watch the second vid you'll notice a long scar on the deer's side. That's from an arrow shot from a tree stand.

Glad you enjoyed this. Thanks for the 4-stars. See the second video.

  • yes he would have because in this video the deer has a broken main beam

  • thats so cool i would of pulled the dogs and feed it

  • why didnt u shoot him

  • The same thing happened to my golden a couple of falls ago. My dad was out back with her and they kicked up a nice 8 pointer and he stared at the dog and then started walking towards her until my dad spooked it. This was in November so the only thing I could think of was that he was in the rut...would have been one ugly litter, ha.
