@UseYourlllusion He was definitely right-wing, but so was Dee Dee. Both of them had a fascination with Nazi memorabilia, though it's unclear if their politics really embraced it.
Johnny was very good to fans, but I would not regard him as a nice guy. He was an uncompromising hard ass which probably reflected his strict upbringing. I don't think he had much use for most people in general.

@UseYourlllusion It was a stupid move to not talk for that long though. And say the things he said when Joey died. He was depressed for a whole week, John said. But i guess that 80's period made for some awesome lyrics XD Dee Dee and Joey are still my favorite.

yeah, i know he stole linda from joey in the 80's
but linda was kinda a slut, but i read i slept with joey ramone, it's a cool book. but after john stole linda from him, they never said a word to each other until joey died. it is kinda sad, because a band making such good music should all get along lol
