35 years ago the late Peter Finch won an Oscar postumously for his perfomance as Howard Beale a depressed former Newscaster turned The Mad Prophet of the Airwaves in the classic flick Network.

Wow. just wow. Such a great speech. I can see why he won an award for this movie. not that great of a movie but these scenes are just amazing. What I find even more amazing is how 36 years after this movie came out how true his words still are.
