  • Of course you can predictr what the music is going to do. That is what seperates a dancer from a robot.

It's so depressing, the technique is so perfect, but what little musical interpretation and understanding there is so naive.

  • @Hunterston B Erik Ballet Madjam? what the hell is that? they cant tell their left foot from their right

  • @Hunterston B you must be completely clueless my friend if you think this is bad dancing

  • @HunterstonB This is not bad dancing at all!

Saying he ignores the music shows how you arrogant you must be.

When dancing, either a show or a competition, its not how you use the music for rhythm changes, yes it helps but you cannot predict, so therefore it is at their decision, in this case bryan and carmen, to put in rhythm change steps in such as in samba: from 0:36 - 0:42 the promenade runs with variation. Then 0:42 -0:56 which includes simple back rocks and many rhythm change steps.

  • And if want an example of good technique in interpretation of the music.

    Type 'Erik Ballet Madjam'

If this doesn't make you realise Bryan Watson can't dance, or even understand what dance is, nothing will

  • And it would look so much better if they didn't wave their arms about.

I mean the Eva Cassidy piece is slow and gentle -the gymnastics is anything but.

    Gentle music, gentle dancing. . . ..

    It's just comprehensively awful. . . . . . .

  • Awesomely bad dancing. . . . . . thie first track is great piece of music to dance to with lots of changes of rhythm. . . Bryan manages to ignore them all.

Any nocticelable change in the dance at 0.14? Rhythm changes again at 0,45 = any change in the dancing? Any change at 1.01?

What amazes me, is that folk actually think this is 'dancing' - this is 'gymnastics to a beat' (and its very good gymnatistics) = there is no connection to the music at all

  • And by impossible to watch, I mean the quality has gone way down.

  • Why did this video get stretched? Now it's impossible to watch. Is there anyway to get it back to a square?

  • you're right rumba was amazing
