Todd Marijuanovich was always a punk. It's no surprise that he was a complete loser in the NFL, and I'm sure he's rotting away in some prison somewhere.

my Grandfather would pass away the next day, and we were back from the hospital for a short respite watching this game, this is when I proclaimed to my sister, "the Irish will lose sometime but not f*cking tonight!"

@jbjb9402 Oh man, I didn't know that! That's so tragic, that he felt that deeply responsible for a death. Tells me that he had a conscious and sense of right and wrong. Not that this was the way to go about it, but he had character. RIP Jeff, and let the light shine on ya. May you rest in peace amen....

Thanks alot for posting this! I remember watching this game and thinking what a punk Marinovich was for doing that. I was so happy that Notre Dame won the game. Jeff Alm, the guy at 15 seconds who knocks down the pass, committed suicide a few years after this when a passenger in a car he was driving died in a freak accident. He was playing for the Houston Oilers at the time.

while that is true you can't deny he deserved it. that headbutt move was completely uncalled for. Kolo's hit was clean. it was poetic justice more than anything else.
