@emilymorone Hey Emily, I'm with you on this. I thought it was depressing to see that there're people out there who believe that men are more oppressed than women, and that women do the oppressing, but then I realized it's actually hilarious. You see, for them to think that, they'd have to believe that "feminism" succeeded and managed to reverse Western socities' gender roles in just about 30-50 years. They must think we're incredibly powerful :)

@factory2590 Emily, you're a moron. Men built everything, invented practically everything, the car you drive, the house you sleep in, the computer and the internet you use to annoy the world through, we built it, learn some respect. Manginas are on the way out. Feminism is going to be rightfully attacked for its blatant hypocrisy and one-sided perspective.

Dude! Grow a pair balls. You sound like a bitch. Toughen up

I don't understand anything about feminism. I just wrote my master's thesis on it after I left government service -_-

@Mechanized0 They used to say the same thing about Gloria Steinem (She can't get laid, can't get a man).....No man should judge what kind of man he is by the approval he gets from women anymore than a woman should judge herself by the approval of men.

@factory2590 Some "FACTS": Women charged with sexual assault and murder are convicted at a rate less than half of males with the same charges. When convicted they are half as likely to do prison time and when they are sentenced to prison they do less than half the time. If you are charged with a felony in America the best indicator of whether you will be convicted and sentenced to prison is not race or income: It's gender. Here is hint for you...your odds are terrible if your male.

@factory2590 The sad fact is men are being marginalized in America. Look at all the statisics feminist used to use to expose patriarchal inequality....college admissions, etc. Young women are now admited to college at a higher rate than young men, graduate high school at a higher rate than young men, and on average are paid more than young men and have more social and economic support than young men. There is a gender bias in this country but it is NOT in favor of men.

@factory2590 This man's tone is not one I would choose but his general point that feminism is not (in practice) about "equality" is valid. Feminism in practical application through institutions of government is about the empowerment of women at the expense of equality not the achievement of equality...A woman's definition of compromise: she gets what she wants and you like it...the alternative? You don't like it. :) Yes I know it's sexist (all gender based statements are)

@emilymorone Seriously? I have two words for you:"reproductive rights" Where under law do men have any? let alone "equal" Do men have the right to disavow themselves of the consequences of parenthood post conception? Do men have any control over their social economic future post conception? Where is the "equality"? Man and Woman concieve a child..Man wants baby tough shit...Man doesn't want the baby tough shit.."you shoulda kept your pants on" is what they use to tell young women no?

@emilymorone When you compare apples to apples there is no wage gap...the wage gap exist because women spend less years in the work force, work less hours, and work different occupations...The wage gap exists because the calculation includes these difference. Women doing the same work working the same amount of hours get paid the same.
AN IMAGINARY WAGE GAP? Do you have any idea how stupid you sound?

@emilymorone Not as stupid as someone who hasn't got a clue what the facts are....hint hint...

@factory2590 you clearly know nothing about feminism? Do you realize that men and women are not considered equals in the constitution? (Check out the Equals Right amendment). Do you also realize that women are not in control of their rights? Are you aware that there is in fact a wage gap and my morals are more based on who I sleep with then how often I tell the truth? (different from what men are taught in order to be good citizens). I in no way want to suppress men, I just want equal rights.

@emilymorone You're ignorant, you're a sexist bigot, and you have nothing to offer me by way of 'education', about Feminism or anything else.
You are a useful idiot for a Hate Movement, nothing more.
