HP Mini 1030NR Hackintosh

This is my hackintosh, a HP Mini 1000 (1030NR from BestBuy). I picked it up for $350 a few months back and until recently, I couldn't get the sound and a few other things to work well... but currently (as of the 10.5.7 update), everything is working perfectly. I get about 3 hours of battery life, the video camera works and I can't complain about a single thing.

For $299, I still consider it my most cost effective Mac. I throw it around... and there really isn't much that can break. The keyboard is great and the screen is solid, maybe a little on the smaller side, but still.

Netbooks were never intended for heavy lifting (photoshop, video, etc.). If you keep that in mind, the system is snappy. Firefox seems fast enough for regular usage. It does slow down when you have 6+ tabs open, but that shouldn't be a surprise. It's as fast as G4 Mac mini, which I still consider very usable.

I took this computer to Japan with me a few months back, and it was invaluable. My iPhone just wasn't a real option in some places (and I think the iPad would have had similar issues).

how do u get graphics and network cards?

*sigh* I can't seem to get the graphics driver bit to install and get the right resolution, otherwise things mostly work. So agrivating. Anyone have any tips?

@MitchellDC yea i know it will be great if i can get it up and running i just dont have to deal with all the little errors most ppl have when using os x on a windows based pc like sound and wifi like you mentioned
