Part I - United Nations Camps in Kosovo

This short two-part film, made in 2005, describes the plight of 150 internally displaced families living on what is the most toxic site in Europe. Given a promise that the camps would be closed in 45 days, they are still there in 2008, their children the victims of the highest levels of lead poisoning in medical history. The World Health Organisation demanded IMMEDIATE evacuation and medical treatment, but nothing has happened. Since this film was made in 2005, a total of 79 from the camps have died. And all because of the indifference of the UN. I just wish people were more willing to fight this, and I mean REALLY fight it, not just throw money and supplies at the problem. When they do that it just gets jacked by the militias and they use it to kill more people. Of course none of this would happen if it weren't for the puppet leaders and genocidal politicians (who incidentally the UN almost always supports), and if the people were more willing to resist the opression in the first place.
