i heard that the card that are now out are the first generation and that the next will be a lot more powerfull ati said that they would make there teselation better like 4 times (probably 2times) so it will reach further now it is only tessellated when you are close enuogh i really can't wait till we get even stronger pcs

STALKER Clear sky has some of one of my favorites when it comes to DX10 use.

Perfect example of the DX10 is in STALKER, look at the brick walls ;)

Dx10 make Textures look 3d, but from the side they are flat.
DX11 makes Textures 3d so you see stones for example from the side.

mipmaping = lod for textures.. for u fags.. blender3d ftw dont talk shit
It looks really impressive how the tesselation changes in realtime.
