Joey in this show acts more like he did in the 1st season of friends, more witty/sarcastic and not as dumb

She show is very bad, and that's sad. If the series could be a hit, merbie Matt LeBlanc would be more famous. Joey is still himself, the problem is that he's friends from Friends, isen't there. He's friends from Friends, makes him funny, because they make fun of him, and laughs. He don't have the chemistry with these people, like he had with Monica, Rachel, Phoebe, Chandler and Ross. Chandler should have been there.

actors experience a depressive state after long shows like Friends, they miss their characters because it becomes part of them.

I dont think this show was meant to be all that funny, but matt leblanc just wanted Joey to live on.
