  • The surrender happened at night on May 8 in the U.S. It was the next day already in Russia (May 9).

  • May 8th  the Nazis surrendered to the Allies. Russia, England and USA

  • umm... how about may 9th, when russia defeated the nazis and WWII ENDED?
