Sean Finnegan describes and refutes the belief of three persons in one godhead including a systematic brief treatment of their co-equal, co-eternal, co-essential nature, and the hypostatic union. Do the Trinity make sense? Is the dogma biblical? Join this tour de force through early Church history and the relevant theological constructs of Christianity's most controversial doctrine.

  • And after you finish responding to that one, what baptismal formula do you use in the name of Jesus or in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and why?

  • The speaker just said they are both shepherds Jesus and the Father. Ps 23 says "the LORD is my shepherd..." Jesus said "I am the good shepherd." How many shepherds are there? I believe only one. They are the same!

  • @djvdiddy

You are belittling God by calling Jesus God, & you are offending Jesus & God for doing so.

  • No one calls Jesus Lord except by the Holy Spirit. Unless a man is born again he cannot see the kingdom of heaven and the fact that Jesus is Lord God Almighty will remain a mystery to him because he is blind and cannot see. God was in Jesus Christ reconciling the world unto Himself. Satan is at work in this teaching because he knows that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life and any man who does not abide in the Vine, Jesus Christ, will be cut off John 15:1. Today is the day of salvation.

  • There is only one God & God cannot lie. Polytheism is idolatory for which reason men proceed to appraise God according to human knowledge. The thought that God must reveal Himself has been distorted into polytheism & idolatry. Men have thus continually erected their own models of God as you have done & sometimes in the form of graven images or a philosophical systems purporting to represent ultimate reality. It is for such idolatory that Isreal was sent into captivity in 722 & 585 BC.

  • It's so sad to see this man belittle our great God and savior Jesus Christ.

  • For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus - 1 Timothy 2:5
