  • The first appearance, I requested a Verified Complaint. The Judge said she'd have the DA do that. At the second appearance, the clerk called the DA from the courtroom and we waited. After a minute, the clerk said the DA had not received the request. I knew the DA would not comply. The Judge, COURTeous as she was, said "Mr Hurd has already appeared once, I told him we'd have a Verified Complaint, we don't, so CASE DISMISSED." BOOYAH!

  • I need to know where to begin with this

I've watched marc stevens and spoken to him he's a wealth of info but in maintaining a drivers license specifically where would I begin

I'm also using ca ticket busters

    Very helpful

    Thanks for any insight

  • @jamesfk77 Practicing law from the bench. Just had a judge do that to my wife recently. She threatened to have me arrested for "practicing law without a license". So I taught my wife. DA wanted to prosecute against 3 pieces of evidence with nothing but a "hunch". My wife called me to the stand and questioned me. I tore the DA a new one when he cross examined me. Loved that! I'll try and get the recording and post it. Best day I've had in years. Like winning a battle. Not guilty! Go wife!

  • @MajorChanges1 You should not have entered a plea. You should say that you don't understand the charges, the jurisdiction, the admiralty flag which displays the jurisdiction, etc. US Const. Art 3 Sec 2 All crimes trial by JURY. Read and understand Amendments 6 and 14 too. By entering a plea, you enter into contract with the court, your Const rights are waived by you, and you have accepted the jurisdiction. Now, you fall under their made up administrative rules. Learn from this. :)

  • @MajorChanges1 After that, when you get cross-examination, ask questions like "Do you maintain the lights? are you an expert or advisor in their operation?" etc...they obviously aren't, so they can't provide testimony as to avoidance of the rules of their operation.

They are committing extortion, but you can't get them on that. Just refute all their evidence and object to all claims of a violation.

If you lose, at least you have a better idea of how to fight next time.

  • @MajorChanges1 re: going to trial Jan 9...

Firstly, ask if its a open court of record; they have to say it is. Next, object to everything on the record: "witness" testimony, even object to the witness him/herself (cops cannot give legal conclusions, that is a position for experts and lawyers, which cops ARE NOT).

  • @rotnflesh

I had no idea, I had the right not to enter a plea. I guess a person would need to organize a group to go that route.

I entered a not guilty plea.

I'm going to trial Jan. 9

  • @BRYAN351

I entered a non guilty plea. I am going to court Jan. 9

I did not have to pay the bail ($476) after entering the plea, Judge gave me O R.

I have to review the Marc stevens info before I go to trial.

  • @MajorChanges1 Did you use ronflesh's strategy to have your traffic ticket dismissed, and did it work?
