I think the X100 beats the X1 technically. But I like the colors and overall image quality of the X1 so much better

@sirbob809 Obviously the X1 is better. But it will be the X1 pro.. From Fuji :D

I have both cameras and this video is not exactly representative of their performance in actual use. In daylight the X1 with new firmware is a bit faster to focus than the X100. In low light the X100 is faster, but will indicate correct focus and fire when the focus is actually off. The X1 tends to hunt a bit but once locked is almost always dead on.
The X1 is really more of a pocket camera and expectations should be moderated in proportion to it's size.

I'll admit it. I'd get the X1 cause it's LEICA. i just can't help myself!

Right one is much faster but which one is it?

dat focus noise

If you were trying to shoot something super important, at speed, you wouldn't even use autofocus. Zone focus, preset depth of field, stay within your settings.
Stupid test really, which can fire its AF Lamp and process the data fastest.
Leica cameras are made to be exploited- but it takes experience and work to realise this.
Monkeys can press buttons to release bananas but they don't understand what is happening. Just that they got another banana.

Yep - but how much of Lecia is simply a Panasonic dressed up?
Sorry - I've seen nothing and no reviews that show the X1 is better than the Fuji (which isn't prefect to be fair) but I know where my money would go....

Well this isn't w fit comparison, maybe if it was a x10 xs the x1 then there would be a equal match. But If you are throwing in the x100 then you have to compare it to the M9.... Just saying.
