I live in the bankrupt State of Illinois, that is run by Democrats at just about every level. How come my State Democrats like Senator Durbin, never have public meetings like this?

people need to realise that the majority of American politicians are, essentially, in the pockets of big business. they all have interests outside of governmental policy that personal interest and benefit them. therefore, while that still exists, no political party is going to be on the up-and-up. they're all shady fuckers really
