Today I talk about diet and pregnancy and whether women should go on the raw food diet while pregnant or breast feeding. I also give some tips about pre-pregnancy and fasting as well. http://www.rawradianthealth.com

I heard from a nurse today that I should not juice diet when pregnant. It didn't make sense to me. How can you be so healthy when you are juicing and why would I not want to continue this during pregnancy. The advice makes no sense.
(part 2) The inlaws didnt like it until they saw the variety of foods she was eating and that she loves her veggies & fruits. (her favorite is peach & apricot rice pudding) I also now eat dark chocolate though i used to hate it. It's funny that once you get healthier (or atleast past a detox stage) , your body actually craves veggies and fruits. You just have to hang in there.
Also a side note. My husband eats almost all junk food. But he does drink raw juices in the morning.
(part 1) I used to eat crap until i got pregnant. I suddenly couldnt stand meat or greasy or fryed things. I started craving oranges and broccoli (which i hated). My daughter is now 14 months and completely vegan & still breastfeeds a couple times a day (her choice). Though she does have a soy & gluten allergy and i also cant have it because of my thyroid and it passes through breastmilk. But we get our protein via beans, lentils, pea, spinach etc.

I truly believe that pregnant women should go on regular diet. this is in preparation for delivery.
