No. I am Pagan not a satanist. The book is a very old one I picked up out of interest a few years ago. It is called A Pictorial History of Magic and the Supernatural by Maurice Bessy. It seems to have been published in the early 60's. Very interesting and I think fits in with the atmosphere of the song. Thank you for your interest. Maddy

Ah great! One of my favourites - good old Gothic horror! I love all this yummy Victoriana - I wonder why we don't see more of it these days :(

Thank you for your comment. When I perform this I usually dress in black, with a spiders web veil with dimmed lights. I do not use any 'special effects' it is just imagination and the candle. Children absolutely love it! I would like to find some similar songs, this one is so popular. I wish we had more these days too. Thanks again.
