Witness the incredible disruption even a minor event (the 2002 NYC blackout, for example) can cause, so while it might well be more 'newsworthy' to bash SCOTUS nominee Sonia Sotomaior, or to bash the bashers, appointing a cyber-security czar is of vital importance.
