good point at the end: aproximately 3% of registered voters are here ILLEGALLY! WTF! That is enough to turn a few elections to the Liberal side, and the Libs are the ones making every effort to create opportunities for ineligible persons to be able to vote -and thwart every effort made to prevent th ineligible persons from voting.

I was born in Maine and I live and work in Portland. It is sad and disgusting that this is even being considered. Another problem we have is that the Mayor is elected by the City Council, rather than a city-wide vote.
