I liked it but man were these guys liberal with their weaponry in a post apocalyptic setting. "Oh we used this knife once, we cant use it anymore"

It was good, but the ending didn't make sense. I understand the symbolism, but I don't understand why that ought to happen. Is it implied that they all become howlers eventually? What was the purpose of that suicide?

Not bad those howler things look a lot like the zombie things from stalker. not sure it works out though. I mean wtf are these howler things what makes them howlers and did they bloke kill himself to prevent turning intoa howler

So, upsides...it's shot in a pretty location, it has a nice soundtrack.

Downsides. Everything else. The plot makes no sense. The howler zombie creatures are smart enough to wear gasmasks, but not to communicate? They are created by something else, and also die because of the gas...very little actual sense can be made from any of this. And half the weapons are over-priced ge-gaws from novelty weapons catalogs. Was that the highlander sword?

Why do the Mutants wear masks? What made them mutants if it wasn't the air they were breathing?

very nicely shot and fine cinematography. kudos. but what crap plot. if there's only 1000 humans left, we wouldn't go around allowing individuals in the prime of their life to attack heavily armed 'alpha males' after first taking away the weapons of the trainee. that's stupid, so you lose 0.1% of your population in a training exercise? do the math folks, the human race would be dead in like 3 days assuming a 50% 50% probability against the howler. and if suicides are common, even worse.
