@louthesz9 well yes depends on which 727 u saw most of them u see have noise caps on them supose to make them quieter not by much tho but the original 727 like where i live in winnipeg we get cargo jet they still have the old engines and they seriously crack my house when they come over.

In my experience, the 727s are NOT the loudest airplanes that I've seen taking off, although they're certainly among the loudest.

BAC 1-11s, in my experience, are the loudest. A plane like that taking off over a congested freeway can surely cause a lot of annoyance among drivers and possibly loosen up the traffic. You wouldn't even hear a Harley Davidson coming behind you in full throttle. It's that loud..
