my most hated film of all time! pretentious, vile, mind numbing B.S..virtually no dialogue through out the enitire film. anyone could of filmed micheal pitt walking around a house, mumbling for 2 hours!! gus van sant is the worst director/writer in the history of cinema! and thats what most of this art-fag's movies entail. no substance, just people kinda wondering around aimlessly.

@CallipygeGRRRL Your message make me want to see that movie, thank you!

@CallipygeGRRRL Everyone is entitled to their opinion - and so are you. But it still is merely a "Opinion". Btw even though I myself was blown away by this movie, it wasnt perfect. There was for an example a annoyingly long scene where the camera just focused at some shrubs. What the hell is the idea with that?

@N7Crazy Perhabs you won't trust me - but I am exactly like that. And still, I can't relate to this movie. It didn't feel real to me, that's all. So I didn't like it, big deal, still, that doesn't make me unsensitive to 'art' (as many obnoxious people seem to think) - only, I didn't consider this movie as 'art'.

Every1 here is saying how boring and awful this movie was. To me it was exactly the opposite. A TRUE piece of art with a camera lens as the canvas. Even though the movie is supposed to be or not supposed to be about Kurt Cobain im sure there are alot of people who can relate to the character itself. The main things i got out of this movie was that true happiness is not claimed by money or fame but by the genuine love of one's heart. Its sad to see sum1 live a life like this tho... fake or real

@CallipygeGRRRL A wise man once said: there are two kinda ways to see a movie - You can set your expectations high, and get disapointed over the movie wasnt how you wanted it to be, or you can relax and enjoy it the way it is meant to be understood. The fact is that suicidal people (or if he really was murdered, then just depressed) dont really show that much emotion. They feel detached, and isolated. They are quiet, and rarely say anything. I know this because I am one of them.
Spoiler Alert:
He kills himself at the end

@CallipygeGRRRL Here's someone that didnt understood A SINGLE PART of the movie. Its not even similiar to french movie. Its totally in the new cinema tendency based on the "aesthetic of the flow", totally contemporaneous, maybe its a little bit difficult to catch, but cinema is not just about popcorn and shots. I'm saying this without the intention of fighting. Its just an opinion of someone who studies hard the work of Gus Van Sant.
