  • I can't believe someone's actually conducting this piece. How long did he have to sit there and figure out how to group those measures? Sometimes I see him beating out two, sometimes three, sometimes six, sometimes I'm not even sure -- that rehearsal must have been intense.

  • @maurateague The beating is actually marked in the score with a vertical line or triangle for 2 or 3 quavers respectively, but I agree: this is nigh on impossible to conduct completely clearly. You are there as a central metronome it seems...nothing more. The musicians might as well have click tracks like in Three Tales.
