I'm a smoker so I don't really care if she smokes either. Besides her smoking doesn't define who she is. I think smokers alot of times get put into a categorey of: "If you smoke then you're a bad person" and that's not the case at all. There's plenty of great people that I know personally who smoke and that doesn't change my opinion about them. I mean, just because a person does crack doesn't make them a horrible person either.

Huge + in young M smoking too but unnoticed cos its more obv among young women. Smoking among Indian teenage girls has trippled in the last 5 yrs, this is at the same time as Bollywood having just about every F main character smoking as well as male characters. Notice how many Indian men r smoking now too, still think its coincidence ? Young people r heavily influenced by movie stars & pop stars, why do you think they get paid the most when it comes to promoting fashion lables or perfumes etc .

In 2003 there was just as much smoking in movies as there was in the 50s. It has only decreased a little in the last 3 yrs. Also how many Buce willis, Arnold shwartzenegger, steven segal, Mel Gibson, modern James Bond movies were there in the 90s and beyond without smoking ? After some of these guys Leo Dicaprio, Russle crow, Densel washington, John Trvolta etc did u see how many times they purposefully showed the cig packet in "the secret window" with Johnny Depp ?

Before the 50s smoking hadn't really taken off with women yet so big tobacco paid producers big bucks to get celeb women, many who didnt smoke previously at the time to smoke in movies esp around sex scenes and there was a massive increase in smoking. Also in the 90s when most cig advertising was banned, big tobacco remembered the past & did the same so there was much more smoking among main characters, basic instinct is the most obvious and guess what ? mass increase in young women smoking !
