It seems like you are pushing the flow away by 'trying'. And also agree with another poster, you allowed the flow, you received the flow of abundance of the universe, your own personal escrow and are giving it away... if your flow is no longer feeling good, fair enough, allow another flow of joy, presence and peace into your life, choose to spend your money/love wisely in a way that brings you deep inner joy and let go and paddle downstream.
